Free Starbucks used coffee grounds - for composting

Just discovered that @Starbucks gives away free bags of used coffee grounds that can be used for composting. Wonderful! Added a huge bag of the dark dirt to the compost pile.
Makes me wonder though - what do other cafes do with their used grounds? What about in Asia? Somehow, I think the grounds are already making their way to farms and pigs in places like Taiwan...
