hey, do they let visitors into the waiting area at the tel aviv airport?
saw some shots of taipei. hey, metinks it's a good idea that the new taiwanese prez wants closer ties with the mainland. all that taiwanese independence stuff, waste of time and energy. what's wrong with buddy-buddy relations? you get direct flights at least once a week, if not once a day, between taipei and beijing. lots of tourist visitor exchanges are good for the economy.

when was gas $2.77 per gallon? or was that a figment of my imagination? go make some biofuel with all those pumpkins!

Very strict security at the Newark Airport for flights to Tel Aviv. Separate, secure (?) waiting area at the gate.
As a frequent flier between Taiwan and China, I too welcome direct flights.
