dunno how these things work. perhaps people have different temperature tolerance. they have decentralized air on in the "west," so why not in the dessert? environmental? who gives a hoot? don't the saudis have oodles of oil? don't they have oodles of money?

air con is good for a place like saudi arabia.
Indeed! Especially in the summers. It can get as high as 40 degrees Centigrade. In the winters though it can be quite cool and temperate.
I do wish they'd consider centralized air conditioning - that should be more environmental, no?
