Took a friend to visit the Jack Daniel's distillery. We took the tour. In the warehouse, the vapors were so powerful it was like taking a shot through the nose.

wasn't strong enough to knock people out when it was popularly used as anesthesia for surgery. or was it?
i believe i used whiskey as a marinating ingredient for an african fish recipe. never drank it straight, though. had some vodka on the plane and ended up sitting in business class on the connecting flight. dunno how that happened. metinks better not try drinking hard liquor again, esp. on an airplane.
