During the picnic, the kapsa was served on the ground (on top of a carpet, then plastic, then tin foil) after which we ate "con mucho gusto" with our right hands (as per tradition).

We went to the Deriya Park on the outskirts of Riyadh on Friday. It was an excellent day. We spent 10 hours there cooking, hiking, drinking coffee, etc.

I was first introduced to the Arab method of brewing and serving coffee by a hotel manager. A colleague at work in Riyadh often brings a pot into work as well. Delicious!
